From darkness Rise the Light, an oil trilogy on canvas, in three panels of different sizes.
This is a very clear vision that came to me many months ago, but which I only recently took the time to complete.
An erupting volcano, from which flames and ashes are coming out, chaos at first sight, destruction. But yet the light is gradually coming through in the very midst of this destructive smoke. This light grows and radiates all around to irradiate and illuminate the entirety of what we see.
Once the dazzle has passed, we see something new, only the light is there, like a rebirth after the flames. Like the Phoenix, some fires seem necessary to make new things come to life.
We then see two subjects on an outstretched hand, they are standing in front of a great resplendent dragon that is coming in front of them. This dragon is the key to knowledge and truth, the opening of a new world that they had not imagined until then. Opening of the mind and consciousness, of true knowledge.
“From darkness Rise the Light”, this sentence then comes to me.
