For this painting, it is a vision that I wanted to represent: three ebony arches that line up on a hill in front of a rock. The almost black wood is decorated with a golden fabric, and the aligned arches serve as a vector to open a gate.
In my vision the arches were extinct, like the still bright and luminous remains of another era….
